We are attacking the enemy and taking ground for the kingdom. Our mission is clear: we are making disciples of all nations and using social media to reclaim enemy territory. What have we done? Well, we’ve continued posting our weekly sermons every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Central Standard Time.
Tune in to watch those on YouTube and comment below with discussion questions or any extra points, topics, or even just an “Amen!” or “Love this!” Engaging in discussion will help spur others and also reach more people through social media. You can help us accomplish our mission, which is your mission as well: the Great Commission.
If, for some reason, you can’t watch our sermons on Wednesday nights, listen to the podcast instead. It’s available on many popular podcasting platforms, so search for it on your favorite platform, follow, subscribe, and listen when you’re driving, working, or doing chores—whatever it is.
We have also continued with the Ministry Minute, which we’ve been providing for over two years now. Every morning, we fill you with 60 seconds of hope—a video featuring a Bible verse and its application. Watch it or listen to it on your feeds and be filled with God’s word to start and fuel your day.
We also have that available on multiple podcasting platforms. If you can’t watch it daily, subscribe to the podcast. Just 60 seconds while walking from your car to work can fill your spirit with the word of God. I hope that, if you’re not listening to our Ministry Minute, you’re still reading the Bible and spending time in the word.
I challenge you to devote at least half an hour every morning to God. With 24 hours in a day, you can manage to spend a half hour in quiet time with Him. Get up earlier if you must! Another development this month is the start of our Deliverance Ministry or section within Social Media Ministries.
For those struggling in life, it may be a sign of demonic influence. We know we’re opening ourselves up to criticisms and questions, so if you have any, feel free to comment on any of our videos. We have numerous sermons discussing demons, how they can attack you, and how to combat them, especially during this Halloween month.
We just completed a series on the hows and whys of demonic attacks. Deliverance is now available for anyone; this is something we’ve all been given the power and authority to do through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. It’s part of what we’re called to do as believers, and we aim to set as many people free as possible. Right now, they are in occupied enemy territory, and we will help reclaim them.
Another exciting achievement this month is our recognition as a top-rated nonprofit through Great Nonprofits. This organization assesses nonprofits based on positive reviews and good community impact, and we have received this recognition for the second year in a row! We also issued a press release, which you can read; the link will be in the description. In addition, we’ve continued doing transcriptions and are working on getting our sermons translated into multiple languages. On YouTube, you can currently watch with captions in five languages, including English.
I want to expand this to reach more people worldwide so they can watch our sermons in their native languages. If you can help, please comment below, as we are also looking for volunteers to assist with this initiative. Recently, we have given away over 50 Bibles, Christian books, and devotionals in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota.
We continue our Street Teams Ministries by randomly approaching people in popular areas—walking paths, parks, etc.—to pray with them, give them books, and offer Bibles. This is done with intentionality and purpose, ensuring that those we connect with leave with valuable resources.
Remember, we are not just making converts; we are making disciples as part of the Great Commission. As October leads us into the fundraising season for nonprofits, we’re preparing some initiatives to raise funds for our mission. We’ve been operating on a zero or negative budget for the past 2.5 years. However, we hope to be in the positive by 2025.
