November 2023 Monthly Status Update For Social Media Ministries Progress Report

Hello and welcome to Social Media Ministries. My name is Spencer Coffman, and this is the November 2023 monthly update and status report. November has been a great month. We are very thankful for all of you, our viewers, who continue to tune in to our sermons, our podcasts, our ministry minutes, and of course, these monthly updates.

So thank you so much. November is kind of a month of thankfulness with Thanksgiving, so thank you for being here. Now what have we accomplished? Well, we’ve continued posting a sermon each and every week on YouTube, so the videos, and also the podcast, we’ve continued putting that out every week as well.

In addition, we have the ministry minute, which is a daily devotional video. We’ve been doing that for over a year now. It’s going well; people are liking it, people are commenting. So if you are watching that, please start commenting on the videos wherever you’re watching it.

Whether it’s TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, or any social media site where you’re watching that ministry minute video or you may be listening to the podcast, you can do so on a variety of different podcast platforms, including Amazon Alexa. So make sure that you are engaging by commenting, liking, sharing, reposting, etc., because that’s the goal.

We want to reach more people with those short ministry minute videos. It’s a Bible verse and a daily devotion; it only takes 60 seconds, so you can spare the time. You can share it with others and get them involved in the word of God. Can I get an amen?

All right, what else have we done? We started a great campaign where we are trying to feed children around the world. Our goal is to feed 1 million children every single day. Now, of course, that’s not something we are doing directly; we’re partnering with organizations.

So if you want to donate to that, you can go to our website. There will be a link in the description below where you can donate to feed children around the world. All of the money that you donate will be going toward feeding those children.

We have all the information on our website. We will be relaying it to our partners, getting food, transporting food, all of that kind of stuff, and then they will put food in the hands of children all over the world so they can be fed. If you have any questions, you can of course comment on this video below or reach out to us.

Our goal is to help feed 1 million children each and every single day. We also have another update that we are now on Venmo. So if you have a Venmo account, you can search for @SocialMediaMinistries or “Social Media Ministries” and find our profile.

Then you can donate on Venmo, so that’s pretty cool. When you’re selling stuff online or if you’re getting Venmo payments, consider finding us on Venmo and, number one, just friend us. Because if we can get a bunch of connections on Venmo, then algorithms and everything will say, “Hey, a lot of people like this charity,” and then Venmo may start to promote what we’re doing, which would then help us reach a wider audience.

Now I want to be very, very clear on this: our goal is not to reach a wider audience so that we can get money. Our goal is to reach a wider audience so that they can say, “Well, what is Social Media Ministries?” Then they can start typing it into Google, YouTube, or wherever and find Bible-based content.

From there, they can get to know the word of God and then hopefully get into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and invite him to be their Lord and Savior. So that’s our goal; that’s our purpose; that’s our mission. Another way of accomplishing that is by you helping us reach more people by following us on various platforms, commenting, liking, and engaging.

This way, we can start going higher in algorithms, and then those platforms will automatically start to promote that content to people we would never be able to reach without your help. So please consider helping us in doing that. We are available on Venmo as a charity to receive tax-deductible donations in many circumstances.

Another thing is we still need volunteers. We need volunteers; we need help in a wide variety of areas. Even if you don’t want to officially become a volunteer, we could use your help by commenting, liking, subscribing, sharing, all of those things, and watching our videos.

That is a way of helping Social Media Ministries. If you want to do more, then we need help volunteering. What do we have available? We have tons of opportunities. You can check them out in a link in the description below. We need help in a wide variety of areas.

In addition, if you visit that link and say, “Hey, there’s nothing here that fits me,” but you think you can do something else or have an idea of a different way you can help us, feel free to send us a message or comment on the video.

We’re always looking for more help and new ideas to reach more people with the gospel of Christ using social media. That’s what we do; we want to use social media to reach more people. So, if there is any way you can help us do that, we welcome it.

A great way, if you say, “Hey, I don’t want to volunteer. I’m not the type to comment and like and reshare and repost a bunch of stuff,” but you make a good living, you have income, and you donate to your local churches and charities, consider donating to Social Media Ministries.

We can take that money and then use it to promote that content to reach more people. So there are tons of ways that you can get involved and help us, and we’re asking you to do as many of them as you can.
