How does $15 feed a child for an entire month?
The exact cost of food varies from country to country. We maximize your donation by partnering with other organizations that have the proper infrastructure already in place. This saves time and money allowing your dollars to provide more meals.
What kind of food do you provide?
We want every child to receive highly nutritious, flavorful, and balanced meals. Some locations import meal ingredients and others purchase them locally.
Will I receive a photo of a child and their information?
No. To protect the identity of the children as well as maximize every dollar donated, we do not provide any detailed information about individual children.
Am I sponsoring a child?
No. Although each $15 donation feeds one child for an entire month. This isn’t child sponsorship. Meals are provided to many children through a country’s network of local schools, orphanages, and churches.
Is my donation tax deductible?
You’re donating to Social Media Ministries via PayPal Giving Fund, a 501(c)(3) charity. Your donation is typically tax-deductible in the US. After you donate, PayPal will email you a PayPal Giving Fund tax receipt.
