August 2023 Monthly Status Update For Social Media Ministries Progress Report

Hey everyone, my name is Spencer Coffman with Social Media Ministries. Welcome to the August 2023 monthly update and status report. August has been a productive month for us. I am really serious about that. Not only have we maintained weekly sermons, weekly podcasts, and also the ministry minute going out every single day.

We do that on all a variety of social media platforms, so please take the time to navigate to our website and follow us on Facebook, Instagram, podcasting sites, the innumerable, well you can number them, there are like 20 or something like that. But follow or subscribe to our podcasts, also on YouTube subscribe to our channel.

Take the time to support us by liking the videos, sharing the content, commenting below with your thoughts, even if it is something simple like, I love this verse or Amen or way to go or anything like that. All of that kind of interaction really helps boost those posts so that more people can see positive Godly Bible-based content on social media. As believers that is our goal. We want to grow the body of Christ and share this great news with as many people as possible. So help us out with that.

A couple other updates that we have done. We are now registered on a website called Great Non-Profits. If you have a chance, take the time to visit our link, our profile there and you can leave a review. This is kind of like TripAdvisor, but for non-profits, so you can go on there and you can leave a review.

Say that you like Social Media Ministries, you love what they are doing and then these reviews are used later down the road when people want to check out our non-profit and say, hey who is Social Media Ministries? What do they do? They go there, they kind of verify, like okay cool a lot of positive reviews.

This will be helpful for us in the future when we want to start getting grants or partnerships things like that. So take a minute, go to the link in the description below, Great Non-Profits, and write a review for us. That would be awesome.

Another thing that we have done is we have begun having our subtitles for our sermons on YouTube. We have sermons on YouTube, we put them on our website, etc, but on YouTube, viewers have the option to view these subtitles or these transcripts, same like with this video, you can view it in a number of different languages, like over 125 automatically translated.

The problem is sometimes the words do not come out right or the translation has an error, so what we have been doing is having our transcriptions translated into specific languages. Now if you know of an area or something like that, that you want to see our stuff translated into, you can comment below, you can let us know, you can reach out.

But what we have started doing is translating them into the languages where we have seen those countries or those groups of people have interest in our content. What are they? Arabic, French, Filipino, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Those five languages, of course, English as well. But we are having our transcriptions created perfectly flawless, no grammatical errors, all that kind of stuff. It is text-to-speech, very very accurate, then we are translating those into those five other languages.

This is a huge awesome thing that would not be possible without our volunteers. So volunteers thank you so much for your help with all of this. It is a very very important aspect that is helping us reach more people, so celebrate that with us.

Another thing that we have started doing is sending out press releases to a variety of media outlets like newspapers, radio stations, TV stations, blogs, anything, anyone we can get a hold of that has a foot or has some type of a foothold or a position in the news industry or media industry because we want to again share what we are doing with as many people as possible.

If you want to help with that, pray that our news releases or press releases would fall on open hearts and open minds. That they would see what we are doing, like it, and want to write a story about it so that we can get our messages out and get our brand Social Media Ministries in front of more people so that they would then go on and check out the content and then be led to Jesus Christ. Ultimately that is the purpose. If you want to help us in that,

We always need financial support. We need prayer support. We would love to get some donors to help us boost some posts and just start marketing more, doing more things. Of course, all of that takes money. We are a non-profit, but it is still a business, it is a corporation and businesses take money to operate and we need and rely on support from donations.
