Hello and welcome to Social Media Ministries! My name is Spencer Coffman, and thank you for being with us today. This is the April 2024 monthly update and status report. April has been a pretty big month for us. We’ve continued posting weekly sermons.

These are available on YouTube, and you can also watch them on our website. We post a video sermon every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., so I hope that you follow us, subscribe to our channel, and click the bell icon to be alerted when each sermon is available.

Please watch them and listen to them! We’ve also continued the Social Media Ministries podcast. You can follow or subscribe anywhere that you listen to your favorite podcasts. Share those on social media and help us reach more people with the gospel of Christ, the Bible messages, and the truths in Scriptures.

Help us do that by not only subscribing and watching or listening yourself but also by sharing them with others. If you don’t want to share an entire sermon, we have the ministry minute, which we’ve continued doing this month.

Every single day, we post a one-minute daily devotional, featuring a Bible verse and a devotion. We do that every day, so follow us on social media, whether it’s Facebook, TikTok, or Instagram. We post a reel or a short video you can watch, and then do us a favor: like it and repost it.

We want to reach more people! That’s the goal here. It’s not about us; it’s the message we want to spread. Even if you want to just get the transcript or subtitles, for some reason, and can’t share other people’s work, then just copy the subtitles, share the text, and let people read it.

It’s the message we want out there for more people to see. We’ve also continued doing the ministry minute podcast, which is released every single day as well. You can find the Social Media Ministries ministry minute on your favorite podcast platform, so do us a favor—subscribe and listen.

It’s only 60 seconds, and you can do that every day! It’s a great way to start your day going into work, with a little devotional minute from Social Media Ministries. Currently, we’re trying to grow that audience, and we’re reaching about 800 to 1,000 people every single day.

So praise God for that! Someday, I’ll be reporting that we have 10,000 people listening daily, but right now we have 800 to 1,000. We are going to continue to grow that, and we need your help to do that, so please share, repost, and like.

I would really love to have your comments on there as well. If it’s a great Bible verse, just say, “Hey, I love this verse,” or “This is a great verse,” or simply “Amen.” Daily devotional ministry minute—find that and listen!

Now, what else have we done in April? It has been a pretty big month for us to speak out because in the state of Minnesota, they passed a law last month. They had some votes or new bills to amend the law and restore religious freedom, but the DFL shut it down.

They didn’t want religious freedom, and this continues to be a problem. Toward the beginning of April, which was right after our last monthly update, we did an interview on a radio station. You can check that out on WDAY Midday, which you can find on our website or search for online.

In that interview, we talked about this situation. Additionally, we have done letters to local newspapers—some of them have been published, while others have not. You can find those on our website as well, as we are speaking out because religious freedom is very, very important.

Now, obviously, we are Christian; we believe in Jesus Christ, and that is our freedom of religion. However, this isn’t just against Christianity; it’s against all religions and all religious freedoms. So, if you want more information on that, feel free to find it on our website.

We’ve linked to all the bills, and if you live in Minnesota, we hope that you will find the link in the description below. This will take you to our letter, and you can go to the bottom and contact Congressmen and Senators to show your support for freedom of religion.

Encourage them to allow a vote to add an amendment to restore religious freedom. That’s what we’ve been doing in April, and we anticipate that May will bring great progress and moving forward, so stay tuned with us.

Please keep us in your prayers—we’re doing a lot! As you know, if you watched last month, we got a new computer, so our finances have taken a major hit. We’re now in debt again, which is unfortunate.

If you would like to help us get back out of debt and get ahead, we would love to start operating on a budget rather than in a deficit. This way, we can begin paying to promote things like our ministry minute and sermons, getting ads out there to reach more people.

We really need your help to do that, so if you feel called to donate, you can do that on our website. Please continue to pray for us, and pray that the right people are shown our content and videos.

We could partner with more people—both financially and with volunteers. We need help on all fronts, whether it’s money, volunteers, prayer, people sharing, liking, or commenting. We need to push forward, and we need your help and support to do just that.

Please consider it, and let us know if you have any questions. Thank you, and God bless!
