Man Finds Renewed Hope, Purpose Advocating the Word of Christ
“It goes to show how our Lord is there for all of us in one way or another, sometimes even when we least expect it,” said Coffman. “Michael has shared with me how donating his time to SMM and our Lord is rewarding him with peace and hope that only He can provide.”
SMM and Ricci crossed paths when Coffman posted volunteer opportunities on VolunteerMatch, a website connecting those seeking service work with organizations needing help. Ricci was one of many who reached out to help Coffman with his mission, and since then he has been elevated spiritually over a condition that can practically eliminate peace, hope, and joy in those it affects.
“Going through Spencer’s sermons and listening at the same time has served as a great way for me to be inspired by the Word,” said Ricci. “I believe that God put SMM in my life for a reason, and as it says in James 2:17 ‘…faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.’”
Coffman originally hired Ricci to edit sermon transcripts, and after a month, Coffman witnessed Ricci seeking more to do and enjoying it. SMM wants to help everyone in any way it can, and that includes Christians of all denominations, agnostics, and even the doubters. SMM is making that possible by translating sermons into French, Spanish, Arabic, Filipino, and Vietnamese.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, SMM shares the Word of God on YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and other leading platforms via weekly sermons, daily Ministry Minute devotionals, and podcasts and updates followers about SMM activities. Visit www.socialmediaministries.com for more information and to follow SMM.
