October has been a productive and busy month for us at Social Media Ministries. We have really been working on expanding our reach so that more people can come to know Jesus.
Of course, we need your help. Please comment on our videos and posts to provide encouragement! Please pray for us. Specifically that we would be able to find regular financial support and that our sermons would continue to reach the unreached areas of the world.

Wherever you watch sermons, wherever you listen to podcasts, you can find that available, so do that. The other thing we have done is we have continued posting a daily verse, and we have done this on social media—Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, on our stories and reels, etc.—so that has been pretty cool.
We have been able to reach more people. Keep praying that we can keep reaching more and more people; that we could just double our outreach every single month and reach more people to bring them to Jesus. Amen. All right, we have also begun since the end of September, so really this has been our first full month of doing the Ministry Minute.
What that is, is instead of just recording the daily verse, we are doing a daily verse and then a devotional after that, which is 60 seconds long. We put that out on all of the social media sites—Facebook, Instagram, TikTok.
Then we have started, since the social media minute began, we started something called the Ministry Minute Podcast, which is being put out all over wherever you can listen to a podcast.
We have also expanded. We have started doing it on an app called Wisdom, which is a place that people can go and listen to it there, and then we have also begun putting that on YouTube Shorts. We are taking advantage of a lot of different places to get this Ministry Minute out there.
Again, it is 60 seconds; it happens every day, so it has been a big commitment, but we are making it happen, and we can only make it happen through continued support from viewers like you. What does that mean?
It means that if you can spend 60 seconds every morning, or three times a week or something, and listen to or watch the Ministry Minute, and if you can take an extra 60 seconds and put an encouraging comment on there, that really helps.
I am serious. It is so satisfying when I can go through and see people commenting and liking, and it helps give me more motivation to continue. I know it is earthly motivation, but it still helps. Another thing is support you could do financially. We are not going to get into that, but that would really help as well.
As a matter of fact, we began becoming registered with a thing called Walmart Roundup. It is also called Spark4Good or Cyber Grants or Frontdoor. Walmart is very, very confusing, and so we have applied in these four areas, which is really one area that transfers to another. It has been very confusing.
So pray for that, that we can get that situated and figured out. Basically, what it is, if you go onto walmart.com this holiday season or when you are buying your groceries or anything like that, you can go to walmart.com, you put your order in online, and then they have an option to round up to the nearest dollar and donate that difference to a charity of your choosing.
We are trying to become a charity on there that you could choose, so stay tuned, stay updated for that. We will release a video update when that happens, and then you can select us as a charity. If your order at Walmart is $37.60, you could round up and give 40 cents to Social Media Ministries.
Now, of course, it doesn’t seem like a lot. I mean, if you have an order that is $9.98, you are going to round up two cents, but if we get a thousand people doing that, that will really add up. So stay tuned for that; it would really help us out.
Again, I hope that you subscribe to us on all of the different social media platforms, follow us, stay tuned, and subscribe to that Ministry Minute. Again, that is pretty cool—60 seconds every morning to start off your day and fuel your day. We are really excited about that as well.
Again, October has been a pretty good month. We are starting to try to increase our fundraising efforts, so keep praying for us, that we could generate some cash flow, that we can start boosting and promoting some of these posts because this Ministry Minute, organically, we are reaching like 10,000 to 15,000 people every single month.
Now, they are not following us; we are not really getting out there very well, but we want those numbers to start changing—not just so the numbers can change, but we want to reach more people and bring them to Christ. Our hope and our goal is that this Ministry Minute and these shorter videos will spark people’s interests.
Then, all of a sudden, they are going to say, “Hey, who is this Spencer Coffman with Social Media Ministries?” They will start searching for that, they will be led to our sermons, which are 20 minutes or 25 minutes thereabouts, and they will watch, and they are going to start getting more and more content and learning more and more about the Bible.
