If you love God then everything will work out for your good. That’s right! God uses everything for the good of those who love Him. Believing in God is not only about having faith, it’s also about living a life that reflects your love for Him. James 2:14-26 says you need both faith and works.
When you put your trust in God, He will guide and protect you through every obstacle that comes your way. You may face challenges and difficulties but with God by your side, nothing can defeat you. If God is for you, who can be against you? (Romans 8:31).
It’s easy to get caught up in the chaos of this world and lose sight of what truly matters. But when you focus on your relationship with God above all else, everything falls into place. You will be able to find peace amidst the storm because you know that no matter what happens, He has your back.
So if you’re feeling lost or uncertain about where life is taking you right now – turn toward God! Let His love fill every inch of your being and watch as miracles unfold before your very eyes.
Follow and trust that everything that is happening is happening according to God’s greater plan. He will see you through, no matter what because God uses everything for good.

So God uses everything for good. I’m not kidding. It’s so true. No matter what happens in your life, God is using it for good now. What good? Good for you? No, good for Him. It’s going to be used for His benefit, not necessarily yours.
Oftentimes, though if you’re remaining in His will and you’re following according to God’s plan for your life, then it will be good for you too. But no matter what, it’s going to be for His benefit, for His glory, and you have to remember that. That everything you do here on Earth is for God; it’s to bring glory to Him, not to us. It is God’s glory.
When I say to you, “Hey, please help us reach more people, help us share by sharing these posts,” it’s not so that more people see me. That doesn’t matter. It’s not so that more people follow us and our numbers grow so that we can look at high numbers. Looking at that does nothing for us. It’s so that more people can hear the words that are being spoken, that they can have the good news.
What is the good news? The salvation messages, Bible lessons, that they can hear what’s being preached, that they can understand and interpret the Scriptures in the Bible. By helping share this, they will be able to understand, they will hear these words and that could change their lives.
Why? It’s for God. It’s the glory for Him. It’s not for this. It’s not for us, it’s all for God. That’s something that you have to wrap your head around. That everything you do, you got to do to glorify God and He will turn everything for His benefit.
Proverbs 19:21 tells us, “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is Yahweh’s purpose that prevails.” We can have all kinds of plans, but it’s Yahweh’s purpose that prevails. I say, “Hey, I’m going to plan and I’m going to deliver a sermon every single week. I want to grow, and I want to have followers, and I want to make more people understand and know what the Bible says.”
I might say, “All right, I want to make sure that I reach 100 people by here and 1,000 people by here.” God might be saying, “You’re going to have to be more patient. It might be a hundred people by here and a thousand people by here.” I have plans. I have goals, but God might be saying something different. He might have different plans and goals and somehow I got to align, that it has got to line up and you do too.
Make sure that your purpose and your plans align with God’s because it’s His purpose that prevails. He will use everything for His benefit somehow and in some way, He will take everything and incorporate it into something beneficial. It could take years, it could take decades even. So patience is key and maintaining the faith
You gotta be faithful. Think of the story of Joseph. When he was a teenager his brothers hated him, they cast him out, they sold him into slavery and he was a slave for many years, mistreated, until one day he became a slave of Potiphar and then mistreated again. Potiphar’s wife concocted some lies and Joseph gets sent to prison where he is in prison for years.
He spent years in prison for something he did not do. He was innocent and he was forgotten about and left in prison for who knows how long. But Joseph maintained the faith. He stayed true to God and he knew that somehow God would help him. We’re talking maybe decades of his life as a slave in prison, all of this.
Then eventually he became the ruler, second in command of all of Egypt. Talk about God using something for good and it took a while. Joseph maybe had different dreams and aspirations of it happening sooner, but God made him wait.
Genesis 50:20, it’s toward the end of Joseph when he’s meeting his brothers. He says, “You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.”
His brothers intended to harm him, but God knew that through all of this, good was going to come and he was going to save many lives years later. Joseph understood that, that even though all this, these bad things happened to him, all this evil was being done, God turned it around for His good, and Joseph of course was rewarded as well.
He got reunited with his family. He was in command. He was one of the most powerful men in Egypt. He had his own family, everything was good, he was blessed because he stayed true to God.
God has a reason for everything. Even though you may not understand it. You have to remember point number one that God is always in control. God is always in control. He’s in control of everything. Number two, God has a plan. He has a plan for your life, He has a plan for everything, and He’s always in control. Everything He does is going to be going toward that plan.
Romans 8:28, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him and who have been called according to his purpose.”
That means two things: God works for the good of those who love Him. So He is not working for the good of the atheist or the good of those who do not like God or the good of those who are persecuting God, He is working for the good of those who love Him.
Now of course He wants to change those people. He wants you to help change those people by speaking into their life, by sowing seed, by sharing things with them and eventually they could be changed, their hearts could be softened. But God is working for the good of those who love Him and number two, who have been called to His purpose.
His purpose, not your purpose. That means that if you’re following God, you’re called to a purpose. You are. We have talked about this before. You have a purpose, so check out that message. You have a purpose. You may not know it yet or you may not know what it is, but God will work for your good.
This means that if you love God, point number three is that He will work for you. God is working for you. How incredible is that? This is the most powerful being in all of the world, all of the universe, and He wants to work for you. He does.
He is in control and He has a plan and He wants to work for you, by putting you to work for His purpose. He will get behind you and open up doors in front of you and shield you from behind.
He will watch your back. He will put His angels around you to protect you and He will allow you to prevail and to prosper. As long as you are working for His purpose. It’s a dual relationship, it’s a partnership, it’s a personal relationship.
It’s more than simply you working for Him or Him working for you or you being a pawn or something like that. It is a personal relationship, hand in hand, side by side, you guys going through it all together. He’s your best friend, He is my best friend. He’s working for your good all the time if you love Him.
That’s the most powerful thing that can ever happen to you, God working for your good. Let Him fight for you. We have talked about this before as well. If you haven’t seen it, check it out. It’s on our YouTube channel, podcast, social media, “Allow God To Fight For You.”
Think of what it means for you, that you don’t have to do anything other than love God, and by loving God He’s like, “Okay, you love me. I am going to do everything on Earth for you, for my benefit.”
Now that may sound selfish. You may be like, “Whoa, wait a minute, you’re going to just use me for your benefit?” No, God wants to work with you. If you love Him then He will do good things for you. Everything that He does here will be for the good of those who love Him.
Now of course there may be some times that it might not seem like that. Again, what do you think Joseph was thinking during that time period? Then all of a sudden great things happen and he’s like, “Wow, I’m sorry,” if he ever did doubt, he probably was like, “I’m sorry I ever doubted. You sent me to Egypt through all of this evil and then all of a sudden I saved many lives.”
Or take a look at Job. Job never doubted, but there was so much bad happening and then it was for God’s glory that it was happening. Then in the end, Job received many times more than what he had before. God rewarded him.
He was working not only for his own good but for God’s glory, and Job knew that. Job was saying, “I am praising God” but then also since Job loved God, He worked for Job’s good as well and richly blessed him.
God is in control so no matter what time you’re in your life or what’s going on, God’s in control and He has a plan. You may not know it but He is working for you so that through whatever is going on you can give glory to God.
All you have to do is love Him, stay faithful. That means committing to Him. Want to know how? Check out this sermon, “Commit Yourself To The Lord.” Commit to His work and He will work for you.
Your purpose is to work for God. You may not know your purpose, but your ultimate calling, your divine calling is to work for God. You must do everything as if working for the Lord.
Let’s go to Colossians Chapter 3 Verse 23. All of these references by the way will be written in the description below so you can check them out, look them up at a later time. Talk about them with your friends, your family, externalize them so that you can be internalizing it even more.
Colossians 3:23 says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as if working for the Lord, not for people.” Do whatever you do with all your heart, as if working for God, and know that He is working for you. Remember your purpose, your calling, is to serve God. To get out there and share the gospel with more people. To be fruitful and multiply. Make disciples of all nations, bringing them to God, growing the Kingdom of God.
Of course, that’s your main purpose while you are here on Earth. You have other purposes, you have got a calling in your life, whether it’s to be in a certain profession, a trade, to do something you know somehow God is calling you to. To be more here on Earth, in addition to growing His Kingdom.
Whatever you do here on Earth, He’s going to reward you. He’s going to work for your good as long as you stay faithful to Him. Maybe your calling is to be a web designer or someone working at home or a CEO of a major company, whatever your calling is, your profession, God is rewarding you for living in your calling.
Then above and beyond that, you’re called to share and grow His Kingdom. Do that. How do we know that you are all called to do that, to grow His Kingdom? Jesus said so, it is the Great Commission in Matthew 28.
We will read the whole thing, “Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him they worshipped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came and said, ‘All authority on heaven and earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
‘“Teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.’”
God is with you. Some may doubt, some doubted. Do not let that be you. No, this is your calling now. You say, “Okay, well wait a minute, the 11 Disciples, it says just the 11.”
No, this is not only for the 11, this is when Jesus was up around everybody. He said, “Everyone go make disciples of all nations.” He would’ve told the same thing to Noah when he got off the ark, be fruitful and multiply. Not simply repopulating, but also growing the Kingdom of God.
Make no mistake, it’s your calling too. Yes, you have your earthly calling of whatever your profession may be or whatever you’re doing to change the world or to grow the Kingdom. You feel like there’s more. Your spirit, there is a fire within you, dying to go out and grow. Then of course alongside that’s that calling of the Great Commission.
You may say, “Well I’m not going to travel the world and be a missionary,” or “I’m not going to preach,” or “I’m not going to do that,” and that’s fine. Everyone’s calling of the Great Commission is different. Some it’s more active, some it’s more subtle.
Maybe yours is clicking a share button on a post or talking about it with someone. Or buying Bibles and handing them out or volunteering. Whatever it is, somehow you are called to live in love and to help serve and grow God’s Kingdom in whatever capacity that may be.
Just remember that God uses everything for good. He is always in control. He will never leave you and He will never forsake you. He has a plan for your life and He will work for you. Stay in Him. Be strong in your faith. Continue to call on God and great things will continue to happen. It may take time. Look at Job, look at Joseph, it may take time but God is faithful if you are faithful to Him.
Let’s pray. Jesus thank you so much for this message. Please allow it to touch the hearts and minds of those watching and listening. That they would remember that no matter what, you’re always in control, working for the good of those who love you.
Allow them to love you, Lord. Allow them to seek you and allow them to always give you the praise, the honor, and the glory. Do wonderful things in their lives. Bless them and anoint them. Make them prosperous and successful and help them to grow your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Thanks again for being here this week. Please come back again next week. We hope you will. In addition, comment below with any questions you may have or if you need prayer, simply say “Pray for me” and we will. Have a great week. God bless.
