Hello and welcome to the Social Media Ministries August 20124 monthly status update and progress report. My name is Spencer Coffman, and I thank you so much for tuning in today. It has been a pretty good month for Social Media Ministries.

We’ve continued posting a sermon every single week, which airs on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Central Standard Time. Why Wednesday? It serves the same purpose as always: you attend church on Sunday to receive the message of God, and then you can receive another boost in the middle of the week.

Hopefully, you’re reading your Bible every day and staying in tune with the Spirit. Please tune in every Wednesday at 6:30 for our sermons, whether on YouTube or our website. If you can’t watch, don’t worry; we have the Social Media Ministries podcast available on your favorite podcast platform.

You can follow us or subscribe to that and listen whenever you have the chance. We do one of those every single week, in addition to the Ministry Minute. The Ministry Minute consists of both video and podcast formats, similar to the sermons, but these clips are exactly what they say: one minute long.

Each Ministry Minute features a Bible verse followed by practical application steps for using that verse in your life. We’re getting a lot of traction on those through reels, TikTok, and Shorts. Please consider watching those; you can get your daily dose of scripture every single morning.

Starting with scripture instead of some other kind of hook is essential because the word of God is alive and active. We aim to draw people in with a verse that speaks to them, giving them wisdom and knowledge. This may lead them to our profile, where they can watch more content or even share it with others.

We have the Ministry Minute videos and the Ministry Minute Podcast, and I encourage you to share these with your friends and family. If a specific Ministry Minute resonates with you, share it on your social media feed. The word of God, when it speaks to you, can also resonate with many others.

Last month, we also started doing some Street Evangelism Ministries. We began collecting Bibles, devotionals, and ministry tracks from various sources, including online vendors, thrift stores, churches, and any place with extra resources we can gather and distribute.

Our goal is to hand out these materials to people in need—those who are hungry for the word but may not be able to afford a Bible. We want to give away devotionals by popular authors to individuals who don’t know where to start.

We’re praying for opportunities to engage in more events, markets, and festivals. However, many organizations hosting such events tend to avoid religious affiliations. It can feel like an anti-God society at times, complicating our mission to promote the word of God in such settings.

Handing out Bibles at churches can be effective, but many churchgoers already have multiple copies that often just collect dust. Our focus is to reach those who genuinely need Bibles or resources they might not access otherwise.

Please pray that God opens doors for us to reach those in need. Additionally, many individuals in churches do have Bibles, so we ask for prayer that they actually read and engage with the scriptures daily. This is crucial for strengthening the body of Christ.

We are also working on transcriptions, thanks to our dedicated volunteers who help edit and organize the content from these videos. We are translating the material into five different languages, allowing people all around the world to read the words in their own language.

Eventually, we wish to expand and include even more languages, but for now, we are focusing on getting our existing content out in five languages. There are costs involved, which is why we are starting small. But as we progress, we aim to impact more people for God.

In addition, we’ve initiated some partnership team-building efforts. We’re meeting with individuals, businesses, and churches to share our mission and vision. We ask them to pray about how they might support us, whether financially or through other means, like volunteering.

Pray that we can effectively engage with these potential partners throughout the rest of this year. We need energy, strength, wisdom, and discernment as we strive to connect with more people willing to partner with us in our mission.

With more people praying, we can accomplish more even with less financial support. We hope to see God stir the hearts of those we meet, leading them to volunteer, pray, or provide financial support to our ministry.

If you find that you want to help us and contribute in any way, we welcome you to reach out. We are looking for more volunteers in various areas as our vision continues to expand and evolve. Your help could make a significant difference.

Overall, August has been a productive month. Looking ahead, we hope to reach even more people, continuing our sermons, podcasts, Ministry Minutes, and street evangelism efforts across multiple cities.

Continue to pray for our endeavors, and stay tuned for a big update at the end of September. Have a great month, and God bless!
