As a believer, one of your most essential callings is to share God and the message of God’s love and salvation with others. In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus commands His followers to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey all that He has commanded.

This Great Commission is not only for pastors or evangelists but for every Christian. The responsibility to share God extends to all who have experienced His grace.

Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.”

The gospel is the good news that has the power to change lives, and it’s meant to be shared. Whether through words, actions, or even the way you live, sharing God allows others to witness His transformative power.

2 Corinthians 5:20 says that believers are Christ’s ambassadors, entrusted with the message of reconciliation. The world needs to hear about the hope, peace, and love that only God can offer.

In a world full of uncertainty, you must be intentional and share God more often—because it is through Him that lives are truly changed.

Got another great sermon for you this week. I hope that you are continually tuning in each and every week. In addition, please take advantage of those share icons wherever you are watching or listening. If you follow us on YouTube, please hit those buttons at the bottom of the YouTube video.

Like, subscribe, share, hit that bell icon. Share this on your social media. Share it on X. Share it on Pinterest. Share it on Instagram. You can put an image there. You can, you can use on YouTube, you can use the clipping function, and you can, if there’s a 60-second section, or a 30-second section of a sermon or a verse that you really like.

Hit that clip, highlight that section, and share that with someone so that they can watch those 30 seconds and then be like, “Wow, I’m going to watch the rest of it,” or just share out those little nuggets of excellent parts of the sermon and clip them and use it.

Share this on, wherever you can. Facebook – share this over there so that more people can watch these sermons, and why do I say this? Do I want more people looking at my face or watching me, or for myself?

No, it’s because these sermons are inspired by God. They are the Holy Spirit flowing through me. I’m getting myself out of the way, and the Holy Spirit is coming through, and the Word is being made known to you.

I’m reading the Bible, and I’m telling you what the Scriptures mean, and hopefully, you are internalizing that it’s feeding you, it’s stirring you up. Your heart is being stirred. Your spirit is being stirred, and you are living by the words that you are getting these messages.

They are reviving you. They are encouraging you, and you are doing the Word of God. You are doing the will of God, and part of that is sharing. How so? Well, when you share, you are sharing these messages with other people.

And so it’s not really about me or about Social Media Ministries, what I’m doing is creating the content for you to easily take and share with someone else, so you don’t need to create the content. You’re saving time. You’re, you’re taking a step out of it. You are. You have more access to share God than anyone ever before.

You take advantage of the tools that are out there and use them for the Kingdom of God. That’s part of why Social Media Ministries was founded, because social media is a breeding ground of hate, contempt, lies, time-wasting scrolling through endless feeds, watching stupidity after stupidity.

Studies show that when you watch people do dumb things, like those shows like Funniest Videos or ridiculousness or all that, you watch people hurt themselves, you watch people do dumb things that you are significantly more likely to engage in that behavior.

Want to prove my point? Go up, open up TikTok. Open up Facebook Reels, Instagram Reels, Shorts on YouTube, your feeds start scrolling through how many. Watch 10 videos. How many that just pop up are pointless, dumb things.

How many have a significant and meaningful impact on your life, and how many views are they getting? How many likes? How many comments? Oftentimes, the ones with the most engagement are just pointless, talking about nonsense, strange things. Why?

Because that’s what Satan has used social media for. It’s time for us to take that back. Use that as a tool to go into all the world to preach the Gospel to all creation. Social media extends beyond borders. Social media gets around the whole world. Use it to your advantage.

Use it to build the Kingdom. Social Media Ministries is founded on one of those principles. We have many more. You can check them out in an “About Us” sermon series playlist card that’ll show up here. Go to our website.

Learn more about us, but that’s what we’re talking about today. You see, why do you spend the first five minutes talking about sharing and using social media, because that’s what this sermon today is about: share God. You have to share God.

Think of all the things you share over the course of a day. Think of everything you’re going to share, you shared today. Think of all the stuff that you talked about today. You may talk about what you did the day before.

You might share your plans for the weekend, your next vacation. You might share a great movie you watched, or a TV show you’re enjoying. Are those Heavenly based? Kingdom-based? Are they promoting good content? You might share of an experience you had out on the town. You might share of a bad experience with your Uber driver or the restaurant, or whatever.

All these things, you share with others during the course of a day, the accomplishments of your children. What so, and so is doing, the agonies and complaints you have of life — politics, sports, movies — can you see what so and so did lately, your favorite song lately, did you hear this new song on the radio?

All of these things you, you talk about them. You share them with other people, whether it’s just in conversation or whether you find something and you share it on social media — a quote or this or that or whatever.

The football game, the baseball game, the holiday toy, the latest bargain, the new trend, whatever. You live in a world of sharing. Think how easy it is for you to see something and double-tap it.

“Oh, I like that.” “Oh, I’ll hit that button.” “Oh, I’ll share this. I’ll repost it.” In seconds, a funny cat video — boom. Done. What does that do for others? It provides some enjoyment. Good, share it. Then also share some stuff that’s real. You say, “People don’t like that.” I know they don’t. I know they don’t.

People don’t want to know what’s good for them. People don’t want to know the truth. They love to live in a world of fantasy and lies and fluff and bunny rabbits and rainbows, but that is not what matters.

This is what matters. People love to talk about politics; actually, they love to complain about politics. They love to talk about sports — gladiators inside of a big arena. They love to complain about things, but you can have no negativity. We have a sermon on that.

Go to our website. Type it in. “No Negativity.” Watch that. Consider this: how often do you share something that will truly make a difference in someone’s life?

Let’s go to Matthew 13:44. “The kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went out and sold all he had and bought the field.”

That is how the Kingdom of Heaven is. Do you understand this? This is something that is so valuable that when someone discovers it, they hide it, then they get rid of everything they have, selling all they have to go buy the field, so they have that treasure.

It’s like if you found a chest of gold in a public lot, for sale, somehow, you found it. I don’t know what you were doing, but you found it, and you do not have the money to buy that field, so you go home. You have a garage sale.
You sell everything in your house — I’m talking everything. You don’t have a bed anymore. You sell your car. You sell the house itself. You literally own nothing now, but you take all that money and you go and buy that field and you dig it up.

And now you have $10 million in gold and then you can go buy all that stuff again, but can you imagine the sacrifice and the risk that that person would take to sell all they have and then go buy that field, hoping that in the time it took them to sell everything, someone did not buy that because what they’re selling all their stuff for is probably not what it’s worth.

It’s less cause now it’s worth less. Remember that that’s what the Kingdom of Heaven is like. It is so valuable, therefore, you need to share it. It is something that will really change a life. Let’s go to Hebrews 4:12. You probably know this verse.

Hebrews 4:12, “For the word of God is alive and active and sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing the soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.”

It is so powerful it can do so much. It’s alive and active. Share this with others, and the words you share might not simply be fancy words in a picture. Someone will read that, and it could change their life.

This is something that will have a lasting impact on other people. Condition yourself. Decide to make a difference. You need to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. You need to renew your mind so that you can be transformed.

You say, “That’s circular reasoning.” Yes, it is, but God doesn’t say, “Come to me and I will transform your mind.” He says, “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” God never says He will renew your mind. That’s your job. You need to study this. You need to internalize this because from the abundance of the heart, your lips will speak.

When you know your Bible, you will be speaking life. You have to decide to make a difference. You have to decide to share God. You need to be committed to doing that. We have a sermon series, or it’s a bunch of sermons that’s in a playlist called “Fully Committed.”

You need to be fully committed to share God in everything you are doing. Start small. Maybe share a Bible verse every day or, like a Christian movie. There are a lot of them out right now. When I was growing up, man, Christian movies, let’s just say they were not good.

Now, the values and the morals were fine, but the acting — holy moly. You were, like, struggling to watch these, and you’re like, “No wonder people don’t like them.” There’s another — there’s a book, and it’s like making fun of things.

It’s by a demon. It’s kind of, uh, interesting, and it’s like saying how, “Oh, these Christian filmmakers, they just think, ‘Well, because my content is Christian, no one wants it.’”

And he says, “No, no one wants it because your content sucks,” and for decades, that’s how Christian content was. It was just poorly made, but now we are in a time — you are in a time — where Christian content is good, like unbelievably good, like Hollywood quality.

And better content, and people are eating it up. They are consuming it. Kendrick Brothers, if you haven’t seen their movies, watch them. Unbelievable. Angel Studios, they’re doing a great job too, making some awesome movies — Epoch, like the Epoch Times, they’ve made a couple that that are pretty good.

There are a lot of Christian films or digital — they’re not film anymore — Christian movies and TV shows nowadays that are excellent. Now, beware: Netflix tried to produce some — Netflix is not a Christian company, so it’s distorted — Lionsgate, one of my favorite movie companies, I used to say, like, “oh, Lionsgate made the movie,” ‘Boom.’ “I’ll watch it.” Now, all of Lionsgate’s content is not good.

They make some disturbing stuff, but they’re starting to make a lot of Christian movies. Unbelievable. So you see a Lionsgate Christian movie and you’re like, “Wait a minute, they made all this stuff before, but they have the production quality.”

So it’s so encouraging that these big companies are starting to do this, and it’s accurate. You live in a time where, these movies – they are actually enjoyable to watch. Share that. Start small, like those movies, or start wearing a cross, put a bumper sticker on your car, watch out, though, some people might take sledgehammers to it.

I’m — I’m not sure where you live, but start small. Maybe, maybe like a bracelet or something. Share a Bible verse every day. Guess what? We produce the Ministry Minute. You could share that 60 seconds every day. It’s a Bible verse. Let’s go to Proverbs. Proverbs 6:21.

Proverbs 6:21, “Bind them always on your heart; fasten them around your neck.” It’s talking about the commands — the Word. You could wear a necklace with a cross on it. People might say, “What’s that chain on your neck? “It’s a cross.” “It’s this.” Don’t put up a patron saint or something. “Oh, it’s Saint so-and-so.” “This person protects me.”

No, this person doesn’t do anything. It’s God. So know what you’re representing, what’s on, on my verse — “Oh, I had a custom-made, uh, it’s cursive lettering and it says Hebrews 4:12,” or whatever. “John 3:16,” and you pull that out. “This is what it is. Now let me tell you about the verse and about what it means to me, ”and maybe it’ll mean that to you.

Start small. Bind it. Let’s go to Proverbs 7:2-3. “Keep my commands and you will live; guard my teachings as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart.”

Now, does that really mean bind it up like a lot of these, uh, Jewish religions do? They bind all their arms with these straps of leather. They bind it around their heads. They got boxes they wear.

No, you see, what happens is God issues commands, and the devil perverts them, and people get misled. This does not mean bind it all around. It does not mean for you to get a necklace. It does not mean for you to get bracelets.

It does not mean to put a bunch of jewelry and rings and leather straps and boxes and stuff all over, put it on your doorpost — “Okay, let’s put some verses here, and put them in containers around” — no.

It means get the Word inside you. Meditate on it day and night. Talk about it all the time. Put it in your heart. Write it on the tablet of your heart. I’m surprised they haven’t, like, cut open people and started tattooing hearts.

“Okay, he’s alive for 30 more seconds. Okay, quick close them up.” No, they’re taking everything else literally. The devil perverts God’s commands. That’s how you know things become demonized or things are not of God.

Take a look at certain religions. God said man and a woman will get together, “The two will become one flesh.” They will be married. They will be fruitful and multiply. That is a blessing from God, yet some religions say, “Nope, you can’t be married.” That’s the devil stepping in and perverting a blessing from God.

This Word is a blessing from God. God says, “Get it in the tablet of your heart. Bind it on things.” Remind yourself. “Use Reminders.” We have a sermon on that. The devil says, “All right, I want them to focus on the words,” — literally bind themselves up because the devil wants you bound and in captivity.

See what I’m saying? The devil perverts all of God’s blessings. He’s very unoriginal, so watch out for that. Find the blessing. See what’s going on because oftentimes, the devil will take it and twist it and use it to mislead people, and many, many religions get sucked down that path, but you need to know your Bible. We have a Bible sermon series: “Know And Understand Your Bible.” Check it out.

When you share these things, whether it’s on social media, whether it’s publicly displaying it, tattooing yourself with it — now tattoos hit and miss. You definitely shouldn’t be putting tattoos for the dead, remembrance of, in memory of, okay?

But if you want to tattoo yourself with a Bible verse, it’s up to you. Remember, this is a temple of the Holy Spirit, so you should treat it as such. You want graffiti on the temple? Now that being said, if you have tattoos, as long as they aren’t pagan symbols or other religions or symbols of hate or tattoo marks for the dead, that, they’re fine.

I’ve thought about having tattoos. They’re just too expensive. I can’t justify spending the money when that money could go to feeding children or could go to buying Bibles and, and saving someone’s soul and getting them saving someone’s spirit, getting them filled with the Holy Spirit.

The point is, open yourself up to that possibility, a tattoo could be a very powerful thing — a witness statement. That’s so cool. I love that tell me about it — boom — “Well, this is what this means. This is why I got it. It’s XYZ.” I mean, you could get something that just looks cool and put a meaning behind it, as long as it doesn’t already have another meaning behind it.

You see, that’s where you have to be careful. Like martial arts, excellent form of exercise, great to learn self-defense, but a lot of those meanings are symbol, symbolic, have symbolism to demons, and to being filled with a demonic power. Don’t do that.

Open yourself up to those possibilities that people will ask you those things, and then be ready to talk about it, because if you decide to share God in your heart, He will give you opportunities to do so. So make that commitment. Decide to share God and then start doing it.

All right, I’m going to do it every day on social media. I just click a share button. Post it on my Twitter account, on X, share every day on Facebook. Every day, repost on TikTok, whatever. Start. Be committed. Follow through. Decide to share God, and He will give you more opportunities to do so, and then, when that opportunity comes, recognize it.

Capitalize on it, and do it, and if you miss the opportunity, if someone asks and you walk away like, “Dang, I should have shared God with them,” don’t let the devil swoop in and guilt you. Say, “God, I’m sorry I missed the opportunity. Give me another one.” Boom, move on. Forget it. Move on. Move on. Do not let the devil capitalize on guilt and try to give you that.

No. Move on, then the next time, recognize it. “All right, this is my opportunity, share God,” and guess what? He will give you that other opportunity. You will continue, and you might mess up, but God is bigger than your screw-up, so make the mistake. Let Him correct it.

You planted a seed. He might have someone else come along and finish that good work. You just need to do. Commit. He will give you those opportunities.

Psalms 37:4. “Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart.” He will give you the desires of your heart — that doesn’t mean “I desire in my heart to be a millionaire.”

He will give you the ability to be a millionaire. He will make you a millionaire. No. He will put that desire in you. You need to ask God to put the desires in your heart, not to give you what your heart currently desires.

Do you understand the difference? Desire in your heart to share God. Say, “God, I want you to give me my heart’s desire,” as in, “I want you to tell me what I need to desire.” God says, “Desire my will.”

So you need to know God’s will. Make that a desire of your heart, then start doing it. God will give you opportunities to do it. He will make you prosperous and successful because you will be careful to do all that is written in here.

All that He has commanded, you then, you’ll be prosperous and successful. He will give you those desires in your heart and make them a reality. Get out there and share God.

Let’s pray.

Father, thank you so much. Please give these people desires in their hearts. Tell them what their heart needs to desires. You’ve already told them. You told them they need to read the Bible.

They need to understand it, and they need to do it. They need to commit it to their memory; they need to meditate on it day and night. They need to always talk about it. They need to bind them on their heart.

They need to write them on their heart, in their minds, on their tongues; they need to speak the Word. They need to be careful to do everything that is written in it, then they may be prosperous and successful.

They need to listen to you, Father, inspire them to do that. Help them understand this. Let their mind be blown so that they can understand that it is not you giving them what they currently desire in their heart, it is you giving them the desires of their heart.

So that they know what to desire. That they know that what they desire aligns with your will, that they will then get out there and act on that. That they will put together a plan saying, “This is my heart’s desire that I feed orphans.” “This is my heart’s desire that I help the homeless.”

“This is my heart’s desire that I be a missionary.” “This is my heart’s desire, that I have people around the world seeing and coming to know you.” “This is my heart’s desire, that whatever it may be, that it aligns with your Word.”

That then they will take the steps to do it, and you will literally be giving them the desire in their heart, and you will be helping them see it in reality on Earth as it is in Heaven.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Thank you so much for being with us this week. Get out there and share God.

Have a great week, and God bless.
