I Am Thankful To Have You In My Life

I thank God that you are in my life. Even though we don’t speak regularly, see each other all the time, get coffee, or grab lunch I’m thankful you are in my life. I’m thankful for the conversations we’ve had, the times we’ve shared, and our friendship over the years.

You’ve played a part in shaping who I am and it’s very important to know that God had a reason for every interaction we’ve experienced. Not only is this true in my life, but it’s true in your life as well.

God has a divine plan and purpose for your life and a reason for all of the people in your life, no matter the level of friendship or interaction you have with them. Thank Him for that.

It’s important to be thankful for the fellowship of others, and many other things. Things that most people may take for granted. Things like food, access to food, water, access to water, a place to live, reliable transportation, and the ability to communicate with others through technology like email, phones, and social media. The list goes on!

This year, it is especially important to be thankful that we live in America. A nation with religious freedom. One nation under God. A nation where, for better or worse, we are free. We must also be thankful for the plan God has for this nation and, no matter your political views, we must be thankful for the system we have.

Yes, it may not be perfect. Only Heaven is perfect and someday we will be there. However, this nation is still the best system in the world. We live in the freest, the safest, the wealthiest, and the land with the most opportunity.

We must use it wisely. Use it to build His Kingdom here on Earth. And always remember to give thanks.

Thank God for America,
