Deliverance FAQ

Deliverance FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

What Is Deliverance?
Deliverance in ministry refers to the activity of casting out demons to cleanse a person of evil spirits in order to address problems manifesting in their life as a result of the presence of those evil spirits.

Deliverance ministry’s sole focus is upon casting out the demonic spirit or spirits believed to cause an affliction in the life of an individual.

What Is The Deliverance Process?
The deliverance process is pretty straightforward. First, you need to complete the Deliverance Request Form.

After that, you must go through the Next Steps listed at the bottom of the Deliverance Request Page. Completing those steps is essential for your deliverance.

If you would like, you may complete the Deliverance Questionnaire Form. This form is optional but will help us understand what you may need to correct in your life to remain free.

Once that is done, we will review your information and contact you to schedule your deliverance session. The session will be held in the Minnesota Twin Cities South Metro area.

Who Needs Deliverance?
Simply put, believers need deliverance.

We have a saying “Deliverance is for the believer. Salvation is for the unbeliever.”

Can Deliverance Be Done Virtually?
We prefer to conduct in-person deliverance sessions. However, deliverance can occur over the phone or via video call.

Please plan to travel to the Minnesota Twin Cities South Metro area for your deliverance session.

In some circumstances, we may elect to conduct a virtual session.

Therefore, if you need deliverance, please complete the Deliverance Request Form. We will work something out.

Am I Possessed, Oppressed, Suppressed, Or Something Else?
Many words are thrown around when it comes to demons which makes it confusing. That’s why it is essential to look to the Bible. The ultimate source of incorruptible truth.

People are not possessed, oppressed, or suppressed. In Greek, they were “daimonizomai”, which means demonized or under the influence of a demon or demons.

Exactly like alcohol, you can be a little under the influence or completely under the influence. The same is true with demonic influence in a person’s life.

How Do I Know If I Have Demons?
Read through the Deliverance Questionnaire Form. If you can identify with several areas and answer yes to many of the questions then it is very likely that you have demonic influence in your life.
Can Demons Control You?
No. Demons cannot control you. They can influence you. Demons only take the authority you give them. They can only enter through open doors. Doors that you open to invite them in. Knowingly or unknowingly. That is why it is essential for you to be careful what you see, hear, say, and do.
Can Believers Have Demons?
You bet they can! Can a believer sin? Can a believer have periods of disbelief? Can they, stumble, fall, or even live in sin?

Of course they can. Therefore, they can definitely be under the influence of a demon or demons in one or more areas of their life.

We have a saying, “Believers can have demons, but demons cannot have believers.”

Did Jesus Cast Demons Out Of Believers?
Yes. In fact, many of the instances in which Jesus cast out demons were of believers. A few of them are listed below. Please find and study others!

Instances of Jesus casting a demon out of a believer.

Luke 13:10-13

On a Sabbath, Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for eighteen years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, “Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.” Then he put his hands on her, and immediately she straightened up and praised God.

(It’s very unlikely a nonbeliever would be going to church for 18 years. Also unlikely that the first thing an unbeliever would do after being set free is to praise God).

Luke 4:33-35

In the synagogue, there was a man possessed by a demon, an impure spirit. He cried out at the top of his voice, “Go away! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God!”
“Be quiet!” Jesus said sternly. “Come out of him!” Then the demon threw the man down before them all and came out without injuring him.

(Unlikely an unbeliever would have been allowed in a Jewish synagogue in that day and age).

Matthew 8:28-34, Mark 5:1-20, Luke 8:26-39

Two demon-possessed men have 6,126 demons cast out of each of them. One man, after being set free, immediately worshiped Jesus.

(Unlikely that an unbeliever would have known to worship and recognize Jesus as God).

What If I'm Not A Believer?
If you don’t know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior we would love to help you make that choice.

If you’re not willing, we will not administer deliverance to you. The reason is we love you too much to put you through that.

If we cast out your demons, then you may experience relief for a short time. However, if you don’t allow Jesus to be the Lord of your life and fill you with the Holy Spirit then those demons will return. Jesus explains this in Matthew 12:43-45.

We do not want to cast out your current demons only to have 7 times as many demons return to you that are even more wicked than the current demons.

You must be willing to change your ways and stop allowing demons to influence your life. If you’re not willing to change then we will pray with you and for you. However, we cannot administer deliverance.

Remember – deliverance is for the believer. Salvation is for the nonbeliever.

Do You Charge For Deliverance?
No, we don’t charge. Freely we have received, and freely we give. Therefore, all deliverance sessions are free of charge.

If your heart is stirred to support Social Media Ministries, you may give here.

How Long Is A Deliverance Session?
The first session is scheduled for 90 minutes, and most sessions last about an hour. Depending on the situation, additional sessions may need to be scheduled.
Where Does The Deliverance Session Take Place?
The deliverance session will be held in the Minnesota Twin Cities South Metro area.
Why Do You Prefer In-Person Deliverance Sessions?
We strongly prefer to conduct in-person sessions because when dealing with spiritual warfare, all kinds of issues may occur with the internet, technology, phones, connections, cameras, etc.

By conducting in-person deliverance sessions we remove this point of attack from the enemy.

Of course, deliverance can happen anywhere because it happens by the power of the Holy Spirit. So if you need deliverance, please complete the Deliverance Request Form and we will make it happen.

Do You Record My Session?
Yes. We record all deliverance sessions. We encourage you to keep the recording and allow us to have a copy for several reasons.

  • Sessions are recorded for the safety of everyone involved.
    • Especially important to prevent any accusations.
  • Many things that happen can seem unbelievable.
    • It’s nice to have proof.
  • Many times people don’t remember everything that happened during their session.
    • Videos are a great reminder.

Will I Need Multiple Sessions?
It is possible. Deliverance is a process. If you have been living with demons for decades it may take time to cast them out. They’ve made themselves at home and don’t want to leave, exactly like you wouldn’t want to leave your home.
